Governor Pete Ricketts announced that the State has moved from the “yellow” to “blue” phase of its coronavirus pandemic response plan.
Emergency responders were called to a one-vehicle rollover one mile west of Johnstown, NE on December 23rd.
Brown County Hospital received the first shipment of COVID-19 vaccine and the first doses were given to medical staff on Wednesday, December 23rd. Receiving the first three doses were Michaela Ostdiek, Dr. Melvin Campbell and Jennifer Schiermeyer. The initial shipment of 100 doses of vaccine will be made available to medical staff and people who could come into direct contact with infected people.
