Nebraska Association of School Boards Recognize Members of the Ainsworth Board of Education for Years of Service
Four Ainsworth Board of Education members received recognition from the Nebraska Association of School Boards (NASB) for their participation in professional development activities. NASB recognizes school board members as they achieve points by attending various workshops, training and conferences. Receiving recognition were (left to right): Frank Beel - Level II, Mark Johnson - Level VIII, Jessica Pozehl - Level II and Jim Arens - Level VI.
Businesses and residents in Ainsworth started Monday afternoon, December 7th to realize they didn’t have any natural gas for heating, cooking or hot water.
The Ainsworth Fire Department was called to a grass fire on Monday, December 7th at 3:15 p.m. seven miles north of Ainsworth on Meadville Avenue.
