County commissioners move ahead with courthouse feasibility study
The regular meeting of the Gregory County Board of Commissioners was held at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 3, 2019, in the Gregory County Courthouse.
One thumbs up and one thumbs down given on rezoning applications
After approving the agenda, the previous meeting’s minutes, and claims, the board moved on to an application to rezone. Kelly and Jody Bailey requested that five lots of agricultural land be rezoned to high density rural residential land in the Whetstone Township. After reviewing the easement associated with the access portion of the application, the board denied the request.
An additional rezoning application from Kelly and Jody Bailey requested that two lots be changed from agriculture to high density rural residential in the Mulehead Subdivision of Whetstone Township. The board approved this application.
