Patrick and Erin Schulte’s son, Isaac, was diagnosed with neruoblastoma last November. By the time it was discovered, the cancer was on his adrenal glands, in some of the bones of his spine, on his lymph nodes, in his pelvis and upper leg bones, and he had a large tumor on his liver. We have followed the journey of Isaac and his family in several installments, starting the first of the year. This, unfortunately, is the end of the story.
Whether or not you are a sports fan, Homecoming is a special time, not only for students, but for the whole community. September 21-26 is Homecoming week, and the school has a full slate of activities scheduled to get students and fans into the spirit.

Homecoming 2020 is just around the corner with all its festivities and fun. The Homecoming court has been chosen, and the different dress-up days have been designated. The volleyball team will host Corsica-Stickney on Thursday, September 24. Gregory will host Parkston for the Homecoming football game Friday evening, and the cross country team will travel to Platte for a meet on Saturday. Monday’s dress-up theme will be “holidays,” Tuesday will be spirit day, Wednesday will be country vs. country club, movie day will be Thursday’s theme, and Friday will be class colors day.
