Wilson Street Closed From 4th to 7th Street

Due to utility work on a lift station, Wilson Street in Ainsworth from 4th Street to 7th Street will be closed until further notice to through traffic. Residents who live along Wilson Street will still have access to the street. Truck traffic for Rolling Stone Feed Yard and harvest traffic will have to use Meadville Avenue (Old Highway 7). Wilson Street was closed starting September 28th for the completion of lift station modifications for the wastewater improvement project and will be closed until October 30, 2020 or when work is completed.

Work will start next week at the intersection of Maple and Dawes Street. The intersection contains a manhole and starting at the manhole, Midlands Contracting will be digging approximately 300 feet south on Maple Street to replace a collapsed sewer main that was unable to be repaired with cured in place pipe liner.
