Homecoming festivities are set for next week

Homecoming 2020 is just around the corner with all its festivities and fun. The Homecoming court has been chosen, and the different dress-up days have been designated. The volleyball team will host Corsica-Stickney on Thursday, September 24. Gregory will host Parkston for the Homecoming football game Friday evening, and the cross country team will travel to Platte for a meet on Saturday. Monday’s dress-up theme will be “holidays,” Tuesday will be spirit day, Wednesday will be country vs. country club, movie day will be Thursday’s theme, and Friday will be class colors day.

The Homecoming king and queen will be crowned at the coronation ceremony at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday evening, September 22, at Gregory Memorial Auditorium. This year’s queen candidates are Brynn Hylla, Keeley Klein, Samantha Timanus, Gayla Waldner, and Ivy Zimmerman. King candidates are Zane McMillen, Reece Odenbach, Rhoss Oliver, John Stevicks, and Jordan Vosika.
