Cody-Kilgore School Bond fails

The $6.5 million Cody-Kilgore School Bond failed to pass Tuesday, February 9, 2021. The vote was done by mail, and a total of 304 votes were cast. Only 26.1 percent voted for said bond and tax, while 70.39 percent voted no. That’s an individual total of 90 yes votes, and 214 no votes.

The community has a total of 359 registered voters. Voter turnout was 84.68 percent.
