Cross country team competes in rescheduled, relocated Scotland meet
The Gorilla Cross Country runners were scheduled to travel to Scotland on Tuesday afternoon, but due to heavy rains in the area, the meet was rescheduled for Thursday. Along with the rains, the creek that runs through the Scotland Golf Course flooded over its banks and over the bridges that the runners normally cross. The rescheduled meet took place at Scotland’s sports complex, running a modified route around the park and baseball fields.
Varsity girls started off the meet and Emma Thomas finished in 7th place with a time of 22:01.
