Nelsen elected to national office

Virginia Nelsen of Valentine was installed as 2016 – 2017 Northwestern Division National Vice President in Cincinnati, OH, at the American Legion and Auxiliary National Convention. Nelsen has served on all levels in the American Legion Auxiliary: Unit 90 President for 11 years; District One President; President of the Department of Nebraska, National Public Relations Chairman, and was also elected as National Historian in 2007-2008. Her service to the national organization spans 14 years.
