Public Hearing on proposed changes to Wind Energy Installations

The Cherry County Commissioners held a public hearing Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at 2:15 p.m. in the Cherry County Court Room. Approximately 40 people were in attendance to share their thoughts on the proposed changes to Section 613.01 Wind Energy Installation on page 1 of the Cherry County Addition to Current Zoning Regulations; the addition of paragraph #16 on page 5; and changes to 12.B on page 8. The changes were proposed by the Cherry County Zoning Board. In attendance were Cherry County Commissioners Mark Adamson, Tanya Storer, and Jim VanWinkle, and Cherry County Clerk Tom Elliott.
