City Council swears in new member

The Valentine City Council held their regular meeting Thursday, December 10, 2020, at the City Library Meeting Room. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. with the following in attendance: City Clerk Deanna Schmit, City Manager Shane Siewert, Council members Kyle Arganbright, Kalli Kieborz, Neil Wescott, Dave Dent, and Andrew Ward.

Until recently, the weather has been more than cooperative for the Salvation Army bell ringers!

Eight days left to help the Salvation Army help others

The Salvation Army Kettle Campaign has raised $3,433 as of December 14. The goal for 2020 is $6,000 and 90 percent of that stays in Cherry County to help families in need. Many families have emergency needs and this year COVID-19 has added more burden to the financial struggles.
