Visit Nebraska awarded Roshone with Outstanding Frontline Employee Award

In celebration of National Travel and Tourism Week, Visit Nebraska recognized seven employees from across the state with the Outstanding Frontline Employee Award. This award honors individuals who go above and beyond while interacting with travelers and locals.

This year we would like to extend our gratitude to our fellow emergency services. In 2024, Cherry County Hospital Ambulance responded to 556 calls. Many of these calls include the additional services and support of law enforcement, fire departmentsandmanyotherbehind the scenes agencies.

Valentine Badgers place second!

The Valentine Invitational boys golf tournament, held May 15, 2025 was initially going to be 18 holes, however the tournament was changed to a 9 hole and started at 1:00 p.m. Coach Devin Muirhead said it was due to the course conditions after two inches of rain.

The Museum of Nebraska Art (MONA)announcesthecompletion of the Nebraska Collaborative Map Project. This innovative initiative invited individuals and school districts from each of Nebraska’s 93 counties to contribute original artworks representing their unique communities, culminating in a comprehensive, statewide map that celebrates Nebraska’s rich cultural and geographical diversity.
