Modern efficiency

Not so many years ago, or so it seems, we were basically in the dark ages as far as technology is concerned. Our first introduction to efficiency was probably the use of a typewriter. If you would visit your local court house, you will find large books containing copies of deeds, mortgages, court proceedings and the like, all documented by hand…usually done in beautiful script hand-writing. These documents are always dated with the time completed at the end, many of which were completed at 10:30 p.m., or odd hours.

Cody News

Well, it’s no secret that last week was a rough one for our country, but the Sandhills sadness settled even deeper with the word of the passing of Jerry Adamson. Jerry was Cherry County, steeped in its history, yet never keeping his eye off the future of the industry. He was a tireless promoter of our cattle country. He never knew a stranger, and didn’t care if you were a day worker living out of your pickup, or the largest breeder in the country, he treated all with respect and saw value in everyone. Visitation will be held this Friday, September 26, 2025 at Sandoz in Valentine from 2:00 9:00 p.m. Services are scheduled for Saturday, September 27, at 2:00 p.m. CST at the Valentine Methodist Church. Sympathy is extended to his family and his many, many friends.
