Ervin B. Ferguson, 83

Ervin Ferguson was born June 3,1938 in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada to Jim and Bernadette Ferguson. He became a US naturalized citizen on March 30, 1955 in Omaha at age 17. He passed away March 15, 2022 at his home in Las Vegas, NV at the age of 83.

Wilma “Doll” E. Kaiser, 86

Wilma Eileen Walkling was born to parents Leo and Geneva at home near Lakeview, SD February 24, 1936. She was welcomed by sister Melva and brothers Wendell, John (Tim), and Elwin (Al). Upon arrival, Al would ask about the Dolly and the nickname stuck. She attended grade schools in rural South Dakota and graduated from Western Christian High School located in Hull, IA in 1954.

James Lurz, 79

James Lurz, Sr., 79, of Ainsworth, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022 in Bassett. Cremation was held and a graveside service will be held at a later date in the Harmony Cemetery north of Valentine. Sandoz Chapel of the Pines is assisting the family.

Kenneth J. Stasch, 84

Kenneth James Stasch, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Friday, February 11, 2022, at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Ken was born in Valentine, Nebraska to the late Jake and Marcella Stasch.

Kathy J. Woods, 64

Kathy Jo Woods was born on July 2, 1957 in Basset to Duane and Esther (Davis) Woods. She was welcomed home by three sisters: Sherrie, Betty and Peggy, and one brother, Kenneth.

Charles E. Stoner, 89

Charles Edward Stoner was born February 6, 1933 in Cherry Co. to Rollie Edward and Mary Ann (Hoffman) Stoner. Charlie Stoner met Millie at a Quonset dance in Kilgore. In 1953 they married and started his army tour. In 1957 they moved home and started ranching and started their family. Where five boys were born, Randy, Dale, infant son, Jerry and Mark. In July of 1957 they moved 40 miles south of Nenzel to the Taylor Ranch. In 1968 they moved back to Kilgore and expanded the Stoner Ranch. Charlie also started his trucking business, hauling cattle. Charlie loved breaking horses and adopting wild mustangs and also broke them to ride. In his later year he enjoyed watching westerns, rodeos and Fox news. Charlie’s grandchildren and great grandchildren brought a lot of joy to his life. He was always interested in what the kids were doing.

Randall H. Marymee, 76

It is with deep sorrow and much love we announce the passing of Randall (Randy) Hansen Marymee (Scribner), on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at the age of 76 years. Randy was born to Randall and Merle Hansen in 1945.

Earl Jereld Brown was born in Valentine on July 29, 1939. He passed away January 31, 2022 in Hot Springs, SD.

Agnes Anderson, 85

Agnes Anderson, 85, of Valentine Nebraska passed away February 4, 2022 surrounded by her family and friends. She is proceeded in death by her husband Jack Anderson.

Ruby M. Lord, 99

Surrounded by her family, Ruby Marie (Gale) Lord passed away on January 31, 2022, in Great Falls, MT, aged 99 years and 3 months. Ruby was born October 20, 1922, to parents Edson and Jessie Gale, at the home ranch south of Cody. Ruby enjoyed a big family growing up as the second of eight children with six sisters and one brother.
