Two new monuments have been placed in front of Cherry County Justice Center, Korea and Vietnam. The WWII monument has been repaired and they’re all facing the Main Street. Just in time to celebrate America’s 248th birthday! Photo by Laura Vroman

Reflections of those who have served. Pictured above is the Vietnam Memorial and below is the Korean War Memorial with all the names that were gathered by the Cherry County Veterans Memorial Committee. The project is now completed after eight years of set backs, including COVID. The memorials are in front of the Cherry County Justice Center and were made by Hoffman Monuments.
