    Leo Brinda Unit #90 American Legion Auxiliary is sponsoring the annual Poppy Poster contest for second grade through 12th and entries are due March 30, by 5:00 p.m. THIS DEADLINE IS FIRM due to the judging and mailing timeline for State!

    March 1, 2026 - Valentine ended up a good deal behind the Yutan Chieftains on Friday and lost 55-36. While losing is never fun, Valentine can’t take it too hard given the team’s big disadvantage in MaxPreps’ Nebraska basketball rankings ~ they are ranked 87th, while Yutan is ranked 29th.

    Come join us for a fun-filled afternoon! The Valentine Area Arts Council will be hosting The Fourth Wall on Sunday, March 8, at 3:00 p.m., at the Valentine High School Auditorium. The Fourth Wall put a vaudevillian twist on classical chamber music.
