Jason and Lizzie Schubauer, Ella and Clara visited traveled to Omaha on Friday where they visited Alex Schubuaer, then on to Lincoln where they were guests of Tayler and JayLynn Schubuaer. Dwight and Marvanne Logterman traveled to Winner and Lake Andes, SD and Quimby, IA to deliver bulls on Wednesday.

NCAP’s Extra Helpings Food Pantries receive donation

Northwest Community Action Partnership’s (NCAP) Extra Helpings Food Pantry has received a generous donation from MEDICA. This donation will fill an urgently needed gap in their food pantry services as demand increases.

NDEE invites students to submit calendar contest entries

Lincoln - The Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy (NDEE) has sent invitations to schools across the state, seeking student entries for the 2025 Nebraska: Don’t Waste It! environmental calendar. The contest is open to all Nebraska students from grades K through 12, and the submission deadline is May 1, 2024.

Apply today to attend the 2024 Nebraska Ag Youth Institute

Lincoln – The Nebraska Department of Agriculture (NDA) is currently accepting applications to attend one of the biggest ag youth outreach events in the state. The Nebraska Agricultural Youth Institute (NAYI) brings together hundreds of high school juniors and seniors for a week to learn more about agriculture - Nebraska’s number one industry.
