The University of Nebraska Lincoln Extension Office in Cherry County is excited to announce summer events that are open to all youth, regardless of 4-H enrollment. 4-H is the biggest positive youth development program in the nation, empowering young people ages five through 18 to develop life skills and find their “spark” for hobbies and careers. Enrollment for 2022 Fair participation is open until June 15, but youth can get involved any time of year. To enroll, go to v2.4honline.com. Marlys Walkling, Heidi Doyle and Prairey Brennen flew to San Diego, CA where they attended the wedding of Marlys’ nephew, returning home Sunday. A memorial service for Larry Gene Hutchison, 69, was held Saturday, May 21 in Torrington, WY.
