History walked down Valentine’s Main Street on November 11, 2000 when the Longhorns were moved from Fort Niobrara National Wildlife Refuge to Fort Robinson. The move took eight days as the cattle were driven overland a distance of 180 miles in the cold and snow. Photo by Laura Vroman
