Court ruled in favor of Cherry County for the Valentine Feeder CUP

Cherry County has announced that the District Court has ruled in Cherry County’s favor in the Ed Brown and AMORAK v Cherry County case. Brown, a Santa Barbara, CA resident and his corporation AMORAK previously sued Cherry County alleging that a Conditional Use Permit for the Valentine Feeders facility south of Crookston was improperly issued.

There is no force more powerful than a woman determined to rise! Valentine Police Officer Jasmine Hoefs has returned to duty following an on-duty accident that occurred in December 2022. The accident resulted in critical injuries requiring a lengthy recovery period.

Enjoying life at the Valentine Senior Center

Rebekkah Cash is no stranger when it comes to working with senior citizens. In the past, she worked at Pine View as a CNA before it closed. In her current position, she is working with senior citizens in a much different capacity at the Valentine Senior Center. She has replaced Ellen Froning, who was the director for 20+ years. “She knows everything about this business, inside and out,” Cash said. “She was just so good at it. She has everything memorized and she did her best and wrote tons of notes for me.”
