More than 1.7 million new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed in the U.S. this year, according totheAmericanCancerSociety. Donated blood is a livesaving gift mostly healthy people can give.

Friday, October 15, 2022, from First to Second Streets, five Kentucky coffeetrees were planted. From Second to Third Streets, seven honey locusts were planted, and from Third to Fourth Streets, six Kentucky coffeetrees. In the end, there will be a total of 55 trees.

City Council approves a grant for Sculpture Walk Across Nebraska Project

The Valentine City Council met for their regular meeting, Thursday, October 13, 2022, at the City Library Meeting Room. NDOT announces the 7th Round of the County Bridge Match Program

Lincoln-The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) has announced a seventh round and Request for Proposals (RFP) for the County Bridge Match Program (CBMP). The program was created as a result of the 2016 Transportation Innovation Act (TIA), and provides funding to counties for the innovative replacement and repair of deficient county bridges.
