Lincoln-Nebraska USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) is reminding agricultural producers of the availability of two financial assistance programs designed to address revenue losses associated with natural disasters and the pandemic. The Emergency Relief Program Phase 2 and the Pandemic Assistance Revenue Program (PARP) currently are both open for application at FSA offices across the state.

Erie, PA - In a sure sign that spring is not far behind, the first Purple Martins of the year have been spotted in Nebraska. The birds were seen on March 12 in the city of Benkelman, by a Purple Martin enthusiast, one of many throughout the eastern and central United States, who track and report on the birds’ annual migration on behalf of the Purple Martin Conservation Association.
