CORN SILAGE HARVEST CONSIDERATIONS – Ben Beckman Corn silage harvest is just around the corner and timing harvest right is critical to silage harvest success. Two factors to pay close attention to are whole plant moisture and milk line.

Add a bit of cool flavor to your beverages, meals and desserts this summer with homegrown mint. Try using peppermint leaves in fruit cocktails and ice cream. Add spearmint to your tea or use the leaves to season lamb and jelly. Or try chocolate mint for a unique, sweet and refreshing flavor in desserts and drinks.

Some farm leases are not written but are verbal or "handshake" agreements. Because nothing is in writing, the parties may have different recollections of their agreement, making lease disputes more difficult to resolve.

Peru State College announces Dean’s List Peru State College announced the Dean’s List for the Spring 2021 semester. Students representing Nebraska, 25 other states, Puerto Rico and 3 foreign countries were on the lists.
