On Thursday, March 11, 2021 Carol Avis McBride, 79, devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed from this world into the loving arms of God surrounded by loved ones. Carol was born April 6, 1941 at home north of Stuart to James Hoffman and Margaret (Papke) Hoffman.

The Valentine Ministerial Association will be hosting Sermons-ala-Carte this year at the Episcopal Church, 372 N. Main St. This year there will be no meal provided, just the worship service from 12:00 noon-12:30 p.m. for the following Wednesdays.

Molly B. Palmer was born in Valentine to Robert “Bob” Charles Pavlik and Marietta Jane (Ramey) Pavlik on September 26, 1970. Molly joined her sister Robin and then in 1972 brother, Henry “Hap” Pavlik joined them. Molly’s early childhood was spent on the family ranch northwest of Crookston.
