I have been getting a lot of calls from citizens concerned about a new renewable energy facility being built in their county. The federal government’s policies concerning renewable energy subsidies are driving out-of-state renewable energy companies to build their projects in Nebraska. The most effective way to stop them is to get the county government on your side.

OMAHA, (AP) — The Nebraska Supreme Court has upheld the murder conviction and life sentence of a woman in the 2017 death and dismemberment of a Nebraska hardware store clerk. Bailey Boswell, 30, was convicted in 2020 of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder and improper disposal of human remains in the death of 24-year-old Sydney Loofe.

When I began my service as a State Senator in 2017, there were roughly 60,000 job vacancies in the skilled trades in Nebraska. Now the department of labor will say the number is closer to 80,000 job vacancies.
