Lady Badgers compete in McCook

The Lady Badgers traveled to McCook, Saturday, September 20, 2025. They took on the Mitchell Tigers and won in two sets: 25-19 and 25-17.

Lady Badger volleyball is working hard

On Tuesday the Valentine Badgers hosted a Triangular against O’Neill and West Holt. The Badgers took on O’Neill for the first match of the night, and lost 11-25, and 18-25. Mia Sherbeyn led the team with 8 kills. Danika Janssen led the team with 12 digs, followed by Ashlyn Hutchinson who had 8, and Mia Sherbeyn who had 7.

Girls Golf brings home first place!

Chadron was good to the Lady Badger Golfers! They brought home first place with a team score of a 378 which is a personal best for these gals! Medalist included: third place, Tierney Miller with 91; fourth place, Joni Cox, with 91 PR; and fifth place, Sam Sprenger with 93 PR. Not far behind was Rylee Wackler with a 103.

XC is shaving time and earning PR’s

Coach Alex Jensen said, “I am very impressed with our team so far this year! Cowboys fall to Garden County Eagles 52-15

The Cody-Kilgore Cowboys continued their season opener with a road trip southwest to Oshkosh, NE, where they faced off against the Garden County Eagles on Thursday, September 4, 2025. The Cowboys faced a tall order looking to notch their first win of the season after losing a game to Stuart. However, things did not get any easier for the Cowboys, as the Garden County game marked the second Top-5 match up for Cody-Kilgore in two consecutive weeks. The #4 Eagles were coming off a decisive victory over the Crawford Rams 82-25 in week one.
