Cody-Kilgore Cowboys are STATE CHAMPIONS!!!

It will be a game remembered for a very long time; Cody-Kilgore traveled to Kearney and played against Potter-Dix in the Class D6 NSAA State 6-man state championship and won with a score of 65-37. They played Friday, November 19, 2021 in the Ron and Carol Cope Stadium with 1,135 in attendance.

Cody-Kilgore Cowboys headed to STATE playoffs!

The Cody-Kilgore Cowboys won over the Wildcats with a score of 72-28! They will travel to Kearney and play at Cope Stadium at 7:00 p.m. CST against Potter Dix.

BADGER OF THE WEEK

Gavin Sandoz, Junior, Football Gavin did a great job of stepping up for us this season and earning a starting spot in the secondary halfway through the season. Gavin was always willing to do whatever the team needed and had a great attitude all season long.

SCHOLAR OF THE WEEK

Grace Maunu, Junior Grace has been a great leader in choir and band this year. She is always positive and upbeat! Grace is singing out, leading her section, and is always supportive and encouraging to her classmates.

Cody-Kilgore Cowboys head into the semifinals!

The Cody-Kilgore Cowboys won over Arthur County 51-6! They will travel to Wallace Friday, November 13, and play begins at 5:30 p.m. Statistics • Peyton Sterkel rushed for 138 yards on 9 carries and 1 TD.

Lady Badgers end season in playoffs

Tessa Krolikowski sets the ball with teammates at the ready! Monday, October 25, 2021, the Lady Badgers ended their season with a loss to Ainsworth in four sets. Valentine - 25, 15, 15, 18 = 1 Ainsworth - 23, 25, 25, 25 = 3 There were 35 kills in the game with Kailee Kellum leading with 14, followed by Malika Monroe with 9, Kinsey buechle with 6, Lainey Egelhoff with 5,and Tessa Krolikowski with 1.

BADGER OF THE WEEK

MaKenzie Long, Senior, Cross-Country MaKenzie Long’s leadership and dedication to her cross country team placed her 14th at our district meet in Ogallala on Thursday, October 14. This qualified her for the state cross-country meet which was held in Kearny on October 22.
