Coaches selected for 2023 West Nebraska All-Star Football Game

SCOTTSBLUFF - Coaches have been selected for the 45th annual 2023 West Nebraska All-Star Football Game. The 2023 football game will be played Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Bearcat Stadium in Scottsbluff. Game time is 7:00 p.m. MDT.

Fair Board names Parr new executive director

GRAND ISLAND — Jaime Parr is the new executive director of the Nebraska State Fair. The State Fair Board approved Parr’s appointment at their meeting on Friday after naming her interim executive director in October.

Fire officials begin burning slash piles across the state

Starting immediately as weather allows over the winter months, officials across the state plan to burn slash piles. Nebraska Game and Parks will burn slash piles containing trees and shrubs removed from grasslands and forests, along with other debris piles, on both wildlife management areas and state park areas.

Cowgirls come up short this week
