Lady Badgers take first place at their Invitational

The Lady Badgers hosted their Invitational, Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Frederick Peak Golf Course and won with 383. Six teams competed at this event, and the Lady Badgers shot their second lowest score of the year said Coach Devin Muirhead.

Cowboy Fast Draw results

The Sparks Nebraska Spurs chapter of Cowboy Fast Draw Association hosted another successful event this past weekend with three days of competition at the Cherry County Fairgrounds. Most of the 77 competitors started arriving on Thursday, September 15, and stayed through Sunday.

Coach Ian Bish said, “Our boys played extremely hard all night but unfortunately we came out on the wrong side. On the defensive side of the ball, we flew around and made play after play all night. Offensively we had our opportunities but we have to finish drives when we get the ball inside the redzone.”
