2022 NSAA State Championships were held over the weekend with the following individual results: C113 William Sprenger 39-4 placed 2nd Champ. Round 1 - William Sprenger of Valentine won by fall over Aidan Trowbridge of Fillmore Central, Fall 1:06.

Thedford - Third time is the charm for Bike Ride Across Nebraska (BRAN) coming to Thedford on Monday, June 6, 2022. Some 400 bicyclists and their support staff will be traveling the Sandhills Journey National Scenic Byway - NE Highway 2 - from Alliance, where they will start on June 5, overnignting in Hyannis before travelling to Thedford on Monday, June 6 where they will overnight on the football field before leaving town the morning of June 7.
