Cowboys win over Sioux County

The Cowboys won over the Sioux County Warriors Saturday, December 4, 2021 by a score of 50-12. Scoring by quarter: Cody-Kilgore - 14, 10, 14, 12 = 50 Sioux County - 0, 6 , 3, 3 = 12 Lead scorer was Gage Davis with 16; Cooper Fay, 8; Tucker Ravenscroft, 7; Parker Andrews, 5; Dominic Fresquez and Peyton Sterkel each with 3; and Dylan Naslund, Jasper Roseberry, and Jacob Knox each with 2.

Lady Badgers bested by opposition

Winter sports are underway and began Thursday, December 2, 2021, with the girls basketball game hosted by the Lady Badgers, against O’Neill Eagles. The Lady Badgers lost to O’Neill with a score of 37-58.

Badger Wrestlers take first place

Coach Shane Allison said, “The Badgers opened up their season last Saturday, December 4, 2021, by winning the O’Neill Invite over four other ranked teams. The tournament was much tougher this year than it has been in the past. We won this tournament with our depth. I think we performed pretty well considering we missed so many practices due to the shut down. We definitely left some points out there. We can definitely improve on this performance.

Cody-Kilgore Cowboys are STATE CHAMPIONS!!!

It will be a game remembered for a very long time; Cody-Kilgore traveled to Kearney and played against Potter-Dix in the Class D6 NSAA State 6-man state championship and won with a score of 65-37. They played Friday, November 19, 2021 in the Ron and Carol Cope Stadium with 1,135 in attendance.

Cody-Kilgore Cowboys headed to STATE playoffs!

The Cody-Kilgore Cowboys won over the Wildcats with a score of 72-28! They will travel to Kearney and play at Cope Stadium at 7:00 p.m. CST against Potter Dix.

BADGER OF THE WEEK

Gavin Sandoz, Junior, Football Gavin did a great job of stepping up for us this season and earning a starting spot in the secondary halfway through the season. Gavin was always willing to do whatever the team needed and had a great attitude all season long.
