Badgers win over Cody-Kilgore

The Valentine Badgers traveled to Cody-Kilgore, Tuesday, January 10, 2023, where they took on the Cowboys and won with a score of 73-23. Andon Olson was the lead scorer with 24 followed by Lex Larsen and Anthony Gillette each with 9, Caden Stankoski and Nathan Perrett each had 8, Isaac Cronin had 7, Seth Vavra and Jack Lancaster each had 4.
Bridger, welcome to the first baby born at Cherry County Hosptial in 2023

Welcome Bridger Brion Wobig! He was born at Cherry County Hospital, January 6, 2023, and weighed 5 pounds 15 ounces, and was 19 inches long. His parents are Myriah and Austin Wobig of Merriman, and has a brother Ryder Wade, who is one and a half years old.
Joan Swim wins the annual Chamber of Commerce’s Valentine’s Day card contest

The Chamber of Commerce holds their annual Valentine’s Day Card Contest at the end of 2022. Everyone was invited to draw, sketch, or pen and ink the annual greeting that will be shared with many over Valentine’s Day, February 14. This year, Joan Swim was the winner with the above pen and ink Valentine, as well as the winner of $250.
