Coach Kelber receives 2022 NSWCA special award

Nebraska Scholastic Wrestling Coaches Association presented Coach Jason Kelber the 2022 NSWCA Special Assistant Boys Coach of the Year, Class C Award. Valentine High School Coach Shane Allison said, “Coach Kelber is a world class technician.
Badgers earn third at Norm Mansteadt Invitational!

Len McDaniel awarded The Wildlife Society Distinguished Service Award

The Wildlife Society held their national meeting in Spokane, WA early in November 2022. At this meeting they presented their Distinguished Service Award to Leonard (Len) McDaniel of Valentine.
Salvation Army exceeds $8,000 goal

The Valentine Lions Club partners with The Salvation Army each year to raise money during the Christmas Kettle Campaign that runs from the day after Thanksgiving through Christmas Eve. The goal set for 2022 was $8,000 and thanks to 100 bell ringers, along with many generous donors, the goal was exceeded and $8574.12 was raised.
