June is PTSD Awareness Month

Lincoln – Throughout the month of June, the Department of Health and Human Services recognizes the importance of spreading awareness and resources related to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). PTSD is a mental health challenge that can impact any individual of any age after experiencing or witnessing a traumatic or life-threatening event. A traumatic event might be physical violence, military combat, natural disasters, or a severe accident.

Central Community College announces spring Dean’s List Central Community College has announced the names of full-time students who earned spots on the President’s and Dean’s honor lists for the 2023 spring semester. The students were enrolled at one or more CCC locations, which include the Columbus, Grand Island and Hastings campuses; Holdrege, Kearney and Lexington centers; and Ord Learning Center.

Dean and Sheryl Noteboom spent the weekend at the Hagedorn/ Allen family reunion at Calamus Dam. A great time had by all, with relatives coming from Tennessee, Colorado, Missouri, South Dakota and Nebraska.
