Sand Painter Artist of the Month

Artist of the Month for April is Jane Shelbourn. Art is displayed at the Bank of the West, Security First Bank, Union Bank, Sandhills Bank and Viaero. Drug Enforcement Administration announces spring Take Back Day

Omaha-The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and its partners will host the 24th National Prescription Drug Take Back Day at more than 4,000 sites nationwide on Saturday, April 22, in an effort to safely collect tablets, capsules, patches and other solid forms of prescription drugs. Take Back sites will be open for collection between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., at more than 150 locations across the DEA Omaha Division.

What a great weekend! Not only did we celebrate the Easter holiday, but the sun was shining, the weather was warm, and everyone’s mood was much improved. People and animals were soaking up the sun, and so fun to see baby calves running around Walt and Sonja Lurz spent the weekend in Hill City visiting their kids and grandkids and celebrating Easter.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved Narcan to be sold over the counter! The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that naloxone 4 mg nasal spray product will be available for patients and caregivers to purchase without a prescription when it goes over-the-counter.

Nebraska Medicaid to Travel

Lincoln – The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Division of Medicaid and Long-Term Care will host its next Medicaid listening tour this spring in communities around the state. “Unpacking the Unwind: A Medicaid Listening Tour” will be held in eight cities this April and May, along with two virtual options.
