Titus Tech Recycling at KVSH

Old computers collecting dust? Most people leave them to dust and rust. The responsible thing would be to recycle them, but Valentine Nebraska doesn’t have any options. Last semester, our government teacher tasked us with starting a community service project. Hence I started Titus Tech Recycling.

If you are a Todd County High School alumni, make plans to attend the all school reunion June 13-15 at the Todd County High School. This is for alumni years 1928-2015. Please call Lavern and Pauline Lanz at 605-429-3368 with your current address to get your invitation by mail or message them on Facebook. The last planned reunion, in 2020, was canceled due to COVID. We’re not getting any younger, plan to attend!

Hello, Everyone! Welcome to the first issue of Open Plains Transit’s The Bus Stop. We expect The Bus Stop will be what is considered a hard copy or printed blog, which usually discusses opinions, experiences, advice, or interesting stories and examples from OPT staff or other transportation professional’s perspectives. Perhaps, part news articles, which focus on reporting facts, statistics, analysis, or expert opinions. The goals are keep the public and our ridership updated on current events. We hope this section will grow into a weekly publication of news and events to share what is happening in public transportation, locally, regionally, statewide and across our nation. For our first issue, we’ll start with the basics.

During the week of March 16 - 22, the following arrest was made: • On 3/22/25, at 12:40 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of A and South Hall streets. The driver, a 29 year old South Dakota woman, was subsequently arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.
