Joseph “Joe” Michael Vossler, born on May 6, 1984 in Geneva, NE, passed away on August 10, 2025. Known to his loved ones as Joe, he lived a life that was filled with passion for his work and hobbies. He was employed at Danielski Farms and took great pride in his work as a farmer and ranch hand in Valentine, NE. His dedication to his craft was evident in the vibrant fields that flourished under his diligent care.
Joseph was a man of many interests, and he found joy in the simplest of things. He had a fondness for woodworking, a hobby that allowed him to create beautiful pieces of art from ordinary pieces of wood. His love for guns and hunting mirrored his love for nature and the outdoors. His life was a testament to his strength, resilience, and love for the land and his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Joseph is survived by his mother, Annette Vossler of Friend, NE, brother Jarod (Kelly) Vossler; Friend, NE; sister Valerie (Josh) Moline, Grand Island, NE, and his niece and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Rex Gene Vossler, grandparents William and Ila Vossler, and grandfather Dennis Schmidt.
Visitation was held Thursday, August 14 from 1:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. with family greeting friends and relatives from 5:30 p.m.6:30 p.m. at the Lauber Funeral Home in Friend.
Funeral Services were held Friday, August 15 at 10:30 a.m. at the Friend Christian Assembly Church. This event was livestreamed via Facebook. Burial followed the service at Andrew Cemetery, rural-Friend, NE.
Memorials are suggested to the family for a future designation.
