Clarine J. Balliet was born December 11, 1951 in Mullen, NE to Gayle and Minnie Mary Hamilton. She died July 16, 2026.
Clarine was a cosmetologist in the Sandhills for 50 years. She valued her clients and her salon became her ministry. She was active in Children’s Ministries and Women’s Aglow and enjoyed quilting, plants, collecting antiques, and working in her yard. Her favorite moments were spent baking, crafting, and making memories with her grand kids.
Clarine is survived by her husband Wally Balliet; children Casey Rohde and Sabrena (Spencer) Anderson; and step daughter Brandi (Robbie) Lewis; grandchildren, Hannah and Tyler Rohde, Peyton, Parker, and Paxton Anderson, Chaney Lewis and Cade Lewis; brothers Tom (Pat) Hamilton, John (Cindy) Hamilton and Craig Hamilton.
She is precede in death by her first husband Dean Pearman; son Cory Pearman; and sister Gayla (Mark) Horvat.
Clarine’s Celebration of Life will be Friday, August 28 at 10:00 a.m., in Thedford, NE at the Thomas County Fairgrounds. Graveside burial and lunch to follow at Bethel Assembly of God Church.
In lieu of flowers, Clarine’s daughters are requesting that you use this occasion to heal broken bonds, forgive past hurts, and reach out to estranged family members and friends. Connection is what gives us joy, hope, and peace and makes this life worth living. Traditional flowers fade, but healed relationships create a permanent positive impact on our lives.
