Mary Ann Reiser, 89 of Kearney, formerly of Taylor, TX passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Wel-Life Assisted Living in Kearney.
Mary Ann was born June 23, 1935 in Valentine, NE to Andrew and Frances (Hostetter) Koralewski. She was united in marriage to Merle Reiser on August 16, 1952. To his union six children were blessed. The family later moved to Texas where she had an in-home daycare for many years. Mary Ann then moved to Kearney in 2022, after the passing of her daughter, Susan Carlson.
Mary Ann enjoyed crafts, painting, baking, cooking and tending to her plants. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Robert (Mary Beth) Reiser of Omaha, William (Linda) Reiser of Kearney, Sherry Reiser of Kearney, Mary Beth (Craig) PInkley of Charleston, WV and Cindy (Mark) Johnston of Kearney; 14 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Merle Reiser; daughter Susan Carlson.
A Funeral Mass was held Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Kearney. Father Paul Colling was the officiate. Visitation was held 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2025 at O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home in Kearney followed by he 6:00 p.m. Vigil/Prayer Service.
