Youth BB ends season with second place

The 6th grade boys finished their Valentine Youth Basketball league with a second place finish in Stuart. The boys won over Stuart for their first game and then battled with Creighton in a semi final game.

VHS Badger Cheer Squad makes school history

The Badger Cheer squad attended the NCA State Cheer & Dance for the second year and made school history by earning a fourth place finish in the C2 Large Squad Game Day division. Thank you for the parents, school, and community support!! Go Badgers!

On Monday, February 16, 2026, the Cowgirls made their way to Mullen High School to challenge the Hyannis Longhorns to an exhilarating match to fight to advance to the next round of D2-12 girls basketball subdistricts, with a close match of 44-50.

Lady Badgers pick up third straight win at home

Feb 22, 2026, 6:44pm Valentine had won three straight at home, but on Saturday they bumped up to 17-8 to make it four. They strolled past the Perkins County Plainsmen with points to spare, taking the game 62-47.

Basketball Recap: Valentine vs. Mitchell

Feb 18, 2026, 11:18am Mitchell came into Tuesday's contest looking for another win against Valentine, but Paige Sprenger wouldn't allow it. Valentine took their matchup on Tuesday with ease, bagging an 82-49 win over Mitchell thanks in part to Sprenger, who shot 71% from the field en route to 25 points and six steals. She is becoming a predictor of Valentine's success: when she posts at least five steals the team is 13-3 (and 3-5 when she doesn't).
