Lady Badgers start out season strong!

The Lady Badgers traveled to Cozad, Saturday, December 10, 2022. Coach Ian Bish said, “Our girls have started the season out really strong and we are sitting at 2-1 right now with wins over traditionally good programs and a loss to a tough class B school.

Cowgirls come up short this week

From Coach Kevin Heath, “C-K girls traveled to Ainsworth, Arthur, then hosted Stuart this week coming up short in all three. Girls are working hard and are improving each game with our freshmen really stepping up and contributing.”

Cowboys win over Arthur County

The Cody-Kilgore Cowboys traveled to Arthur County, Friday, December 9, and won with a score of 48-42. Scoring by quarters: Cody-Kilgore - 17, 11, 14, 6 = 48 Arthur County - 18, 8, 6, 10 = 42 Stats weren’t available as of press time.

Lady Badger wrestling team finishes eighth

The triangular Thursday, December 9, and the boys tournament Friday, December 10, were cancelled due to snow. The Lady Badger wrestling team was able to go to Stapleton on Saturday, December 10.

Season opener begins with a Championship title tie!

The Badger wrestling teams kicked off their seasons in O’Neill this last weekend. Valentine tied Croften-Bloomfield for the title. “We were missing a few guys, so still being able to tie the #4 team in the state with five open weight classes was good. I didn't feel we wrestled great in the finals, but it is early in the year, and our kids will respond and come back stronger,” said Coach Shane Allison.

Badger basketball season begins

The Badgers began their baskeball season Thursday December 1, 2022 when they traveled to O’Neill. The Lady Badgers won with a score of 57-41.

Cowboys begin season with a win

Thursday, December 1, 2022, the Cowgirls and Cowboys traveled out west to Sioux County. The Cowgirls fought hard but came up short, losing 40-50. The Cowboys had no troubles, coming back home with a win 60-15.
