Poet and author M. Tim Nolting held a workshop in the Choir Room, and shared a poignant passage from one of his books about his father’s 20 year relationship with Justin, a beautiful horse who filled photo albums, posed with family and friends... “...when the time came, I could tell he wasn’t going to get up. So I stayed there with my arm across him until he quit breathing...”

Maybe, because it had been on it’s almost last leg, the Out with the Old and In with the New Old West Days, seemed more connected with a greater sense of community this past weekend.
