On 03/09/2021 at 9:57 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of West 4th Street. A 48 year old male and a 36 year old male, both from South Dakota, were arrested on active Cherry County warrants.
On 03/09/2021 at 11:05 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of North Cherry Street. Following an investigation, a 51 year old South Dakota man was arrested on suspicion of operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
On 03/10/2021 at 2:53 p.m., an officer received a call from a 47 year old South Dakota woman who admitted to falsifying multiple police reports. All information was forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney.
On 03/10/2021 at 7:36 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of South Main Street. Following an investigation a 36 year old South Dakota woman was arrested on possession of a controlled substance.
On 03/10/2021 at 9:59 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of West 4th Street. Following an investigation, a 26 year old South Dakota man was cited for possession of marijuana less than one ounce.
On 03/11/2021 at 3:12 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of South Main Street in regard to a disturbance. A 30 year old South Dakota man was arrested for disturbing the peace.
On 03/11/2021 at 11:04 p.m., an officer made contact with a vehicle. Following an investigation, a 20 year old South Dakota man was arrested on suspicion of operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
On 03/11/2021 at 5:50 p.m., officers assisted the Nebraska State Patrol. A male subject from Iowa was taken into custody.
Officers responded to 109 calls for service this week.
