Above, Valentine City Hall construction began in 1937 and was completed in the summer of 1938. The library was moved to the upstairs in September. The library is pictured, at right, in the Valentine City Hall where it was housed from 1938 through 1968. Several events were held including book discussions, businessmen’s coffee events, and children’s story time. -
