Willard Hollopeter’s flag-draped casket was transported on an old western wagon from his former home in Wood Lake to his final resting place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Wood Lake. The caisson was pulled by two horses; the riderless horse was led by rider Julie Hollopeter Owens. Amidst flags flying at the cemetery, American Legion Post 123 was in charge of Military Honors.
