It’s not often that the Sandhills sees foggy days, foggy mornings, possibly, but not most of the day... or the next, or even the next. Lincoln — Attorney General Mike Hilgers announced that his office has reached a settlement with Hilton Hotels regarding the disclosure of hidden mandatory fees. The Chamber of Commerce holds their annual Valentine’s Day Card Contest at the end of 2023. Everyone was invited to draw, sketch, or pen and ink the annual greeting that will be shared with many over Valentine’s Day, February 14. This year, Hedda Matheson was the winner with the above pen and ink letting you know your heart has a friend. She also was the recipient of the $250 prize.
