Columbus – Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) wants to remind equipment operators to keep a focus on safety around power lines as they head out to the fields for harvest. When large equipment gets too close to a power line, electricity can arc to the equipment, leaving the equipment damaged with the potential to cause serious or fatal injuries to the operator.
