The Valentine Volunteer Fire Department responded to a mutual aid call for the fires that took place last week in South Dakota. Chief Terry Engles said they had a seven man crew leave Thursday, September 12, 2024, a little before 3:00 p.m., taking with them two grass rigs, and a tanker to the Oakcreek fire.
