CCH upgrades electronic health system

The last quarter of 2022, Cherry County Hospital and Clinic (CCH) embarked on a journey to update their electronic health record system by participating in a system selection process. CCH partnered with Healthcare Triangle to compare systems where they scheduled demonstrations, performed hospital employee reviews, and completed a total cost of ownership for Epic Community Connect, Cerner, and Meditech; with the selection process spanning the course of three months. Finally, an upgrade to Meditech Expanse was chosen as the electronic health record system of choice.

CCVMC receives grant from Rollie Pestel Charitable Foundation

TheCherryCountyVeteransMemorial Committee was the recipient of a $8,000 grant from the Rollie Pestel Charitable Foundation. The grant money will be used for the engraving of the World War II memorial names which were damaged on nearly one third of the World War II memorial.

LEAD application deadline is June 15

Lincoln, February 7, 2024 — Applications are being accepted for Nebraska LEAD Class 43, which begins in the fall of 2024. Up to 30 highly motivated individuals with demonstrated leadership potential will be selected. Gov. Pillen visits border, reaffirms Nebraska’s commitment to Texas

How moral Nebraskans ranked on Wallet Hub

With hate crimes having a record spike last year and drug overdose deaths remaining a major issue, the personal-finance website WalletHub released its report on 2024s Most Sinful States. To determine where the U.S. has the most moral growing to do, WalletHub compared the 50 states based on seven sinful behaviors: anger and hatred, jealousy, excesses and vices, greed, lust, vanity and laziness.
