Mitchel Tech announces fall President’s List A total of 356 Mitchell Technical College students earned recognition on the Fall 2023 President’s List, according to MTC President Mark Wilson. To be named to the list, students must earn a term Grade Point Average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and be registered for at least 12 credit hours of academic work during the semester.

When it’s freezing outside, we have the second round of our soup contest! Winning week two with her smoked corn chowder was Rachel Wade, coming in second was Riawna Reimers with chicken enchilada, in third place making a green pepper soup was Tammy Garvin, Kristy Reimers made a cheesy potato and Donald McCleary made a potato soup!

Welcome Elias Faith Driving Hawk, first baby of 2024!

Cherry County Hospital welcomed the first baby of the new year, January 3, 2024. Elias Faith Driving Hawk was welcomed into this world weighing 6 pounds and 14 ounces, and was 21 inches long. He is the son of Elektra Shields and Matthew Driving Hawk of Valentine. Elias has an older brother, Zachary Driving Hawk, who is nine years old.
